Tell us about an agriturismo, or similar, in continental Europe that has country hospitality, great local produce and/or an amazing setting
Our best agriturismo stay was amid the vines at a prosecco-maker in the Veneto, with huge bedrooms, copious meals and their own fizz at €3 a bottle. But the idea has now spread way beyond Italy. It is possible to enjoy a countryside break among people who work the land in countries as far-flung as Latvia, Switzerland and Turkey.
This week, we’d love to hear about your best farm stays in continental Europe (we’ll leave the UK for another time), for views, atmosphere and friendly welcomes – whether it offers rooms and restaurant, or just memorable self-catering accommodation.
